David Silipigno is committed since childhood to work for the welfare of people and in making the society a better place. Through his philanthropic efforts, he has given back tremendously to his community; from grass root levels to major capital investment, David B Silipigno has done exemplary work for improving the life of people around him.

David B Silipigno started a humanitarian organization with the aim to improve the lives of underprivileged children in Saratoga and its outlying areas. Since its inception, the David B Silipigno Foundation has been improving the emotional, social, and physical well-being of at-risk children throughout the Capital region. The David Silipigno Foundation also has a tie up with the community-based organizations that are working towards the same goal. The foundation supports them in their cause by giving funds so that these organizations can help maximum children who are in need of emotional and social support.

David Silipigno is also a successful entrepreneur; he is the founder and consultant of five area businesses - Principal Commercial, Industry Partners Title, Saratoga Venture Capital, First Guarantee Mortgage, and Saratoga Studios. His first business venture, National Finance Corp. (NFC) increased employment opportunities in the Saratoga region to a considerable extent.

David B Silipigno is the recipient of several philanthropy awards for his charitable work. He received the prestigious "In the Spirit of Service Award" from the Arthritis Foundation of NENY.
